If there had been a “Most Avant-Garde” award for the evening, Elemental Harmony
would have grabbed it with six hands. The trio of angel-voiced women
boldly confused the audience with their folk/operatic/whistle
tube/coyote calling set that closed with a straightforward rendition of
local songwriter Karen Hart’s “Totally Exposed.” Bravo to this group
for shaking things up! Amy Bob Engelhardt The Bobs
I love this group without prejudice or hesitation. They are a trio of
ladies singing earthy, world, funky eclectic stuff (barking like a
coyote!). So refreshing to have awesome groups like this. They were
great singers and marvelously composed performers. Mister Tim
An amazing performance, with the most astonishing harmonies we’ve
heard...especially with only three voices!” Andrea Epel, The Treehouse
“This group had incredible arrangements and were vocally very tight. Rarely have I heard a cappella done so well.”
Herman Saunders, arranger/producer
"You have a very wide, interesting and advanced
repertoire. As a musician I understand how challenging is to sing "a
cappella": staying in tune, performing together in rhythmic
synchronization with good intonation, feeling the ensemble and so on.
You are doing a great job! It shows that you are professionals-I can
hear and feel it. I am wishing you luck in your desire to create
beauty, wishing you a happy and fascinating future." Anatoly Mizrahi, cello player from Israel
"Very impressive! The music is a beautiful
combination of harmonic tones and the pictures are fabulous. Can't
wait for another performance! Congrats and best wishes!!" Andrea
Alvarado
“Delightfully entertaining as well as extremely professional. Their program was the highlight of our year.” Elaine Levey, AAUW
"Your trio sounds totaly unbelievable. The music is uncommon and pure. Your music is absolutely beautiful, professional and charming. All my congratulations!" Arkadi Gologorski, First violin of Mendoza Symphonic Orchestra"
“[Elemental Harmony's] music not only touches the heart, it tickles the funny bone.” Dorothy Strakbein-Koetz, CWBO
